What are flush rails?

Flush rails are also known as "flush" railings or integrated roof rails. The railing sits on top of the car roof and is characterized by the fact that there is no space between the roof and the rail. The railing is usually mounted in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is often as long as the roof itself. Opel started using flush rails in 2003; afterward, more and more brands followed with these aesthetic and functional trim elements.
