Thule BackSpace XT
Thule BackSpace, including a tilting base carrier, is a luggage box that is mounted on the towbar. Ideal if you are not allowed or able to carry anything on the roof. The capacity is 300 litres, so enough for 3.5 weekend bags. The base carrier is included and is tiltable, so you still have access to the 5th door or tailgate. The maximum load capacity is 50 kg. You may drive up to 130 km/h.

Limitations and recommendations
This is an ideal luggage box if you are not allowed to carry anything on the roof. Do you need to transport a large amount of luggage? Then you can combine this box with renting a roof box. This combination fits on many vehicles, but always check the nose weight of your towbar. You can usually find this on the plate on the towbar or in your car’s manual.
